When you think about having a garden, more often than not it has to do with improving your home’s yard so that it can accommodate a true garden. While this is all well and good, there are certain aspects of a home that could very well be improved by having a garden setting placed on the inside of the house. It’s something that’s commonly overlooked, because more often than not plants are placed inside one’s home to simply improve the setting with cheap home accessories, and not truly transform the look.

There are house plants out there which are more than capable of transforming the look of your home into a beautiful indoor garden. Why opt for second best if you can go for plants that not only keep well but are also beautiful to look at?

English ivy

Starting with an indoor plant that requires only a little routine maintenance, the reason why it’s on this list is because of its overall beauty and how it can really transform your home’s interior. Continuing with the interior design trends for window sills, cacti are often small and very pleasing to the eyes. It is also incredibly easy to keep and doesn’t need to be watered too often. Be careful though, as they’re prickly to the touch! Using these alongside English ivy is a great way to spruce up your home and make it feel more like a garden. You can also use these plants for decorating hallways, by hanging them!
